Bey Rivals updates

Balance patch, Horseman shield fix and four codes

Mol’s later patch supersedes several values in the 05:14 update. NotTrulyEpic posted the matching code list at 09:18, edited at 09:19.

  • Battle: Brace cooldown is now 1.2 seconds; recoil costs 25% less spin, normal hits deal 10% less burst damage, and ring-outs require a harder throw.
  • Horseman: above level 100, a starting shield blocks ring-outs, spin depletion and burst progress beyond 90%, while hits still damage him. The corrected duration is 9 seconds at level 110 and at most 20 seconds from level 120. Each 10 levels above 100 adds 2 Attack, Defense and Speed.
  • Ranked: wins gain at least 5 ELO and losses cost at most 25 before close-match and perfect-play adjustments. This is not a cap on every final result or leaving penalty.
  • Code fix: codes not granting Trait Tokens were fixed. The developer advises trying a new server if a code does not work.

Balance examples: Vector Valkyra’s base burst damage is 15% lower and Flash Shoot deals 20% less damage. Pumpkin’s Scrape Charge deals 40% more damage; Patch gains 1 Attack. Hallowed Horus’s Soaring Strike deals 175% more damage, stuns 0.7 seconds longer and knocks 25% farther. These changes do not establish a tested tier ranking.

New codes: BALANCEPATCH, RINGOUTNERF, SPOOKYBUFF and NEWCLASH. SPOOKYBUFF includes “until Halloween ends”; NEWCLASH has no explicit expiry condition in its post.

Timing-based clashes, Token rewards and Halloween changes

Mol published four update messages at 05:14; the final message was edited at 05:27. NotTrulyEpic’s 05:15 “UPDATE IS OUT” announcement confirms release.

  • Clashes: five timing zones over about five seconds replace mashing. Click or tap, press Q, or use R2 / A on controller.
  • Tokens: all finish types give 1 Token, up to 20 daily. Wins give 2 Tokens, up to 20 daily. Training Hall finishes give 1 each, up to 5 daily; Horseman finishes also pay Tokens. The notes list these allowances separately.
  • Trait rerolls: when out of Tokens, a reroll costs 1,000 BP. Auto Roll still uses Tokens and stops only on selected traits.
  • Halloween: the Horseman starts at level 0 and gains 10 levels per victory. Wins award Soul Tickets and Soul Coins. Hallow Lantern is 0.05% per draw, guaranteed by draw 350. The later patch changes high-level shield behavior.
  • Prices and Inbox: 10 Soul Tickets for 99 Robux; 100 for 899. Earlier purchases, bundle differences and previously claimed reward tiers receive Inbox top-ups. The 05:27 follow-up confirms automatic ticket refunds.
  • Quests: weekly resets are Monday at 00:00 UTC, starting November 2. Daily log-in gives 3 Soul Tickets. This reset date does not establish the event’s end.
  • Ranked: no new ELO reset; placement ceiling becomes 1,599. The Top 5 matching rule expands to Top 15. Forfeits and team departures receive explicit handling.
  • Menus and inventory: H / J / M / B open Summon / Inventory / Store / Emotes, and N is Spectate. Normal Roblox controller navigation replaces the custom cursor. Epic-or-better rerolls and part disposal require confirmation; shiny parts can use normal copies for Star Up.
  • Summons: Arc Achilles leaves summons but remains in Battlepass tier 100; existing owners keep it.

Three codes at 05:14: HORSEMANRAGE, TRAITGRIND and CONTROLLERFIX. HORSEMANRAGE explicitly expires when Halloween ends. No exact end date is stated.

Halloween preview, followed by the October 28 release

NotTrulyEpic’s 02:10 post, edited at 02:11 (UTC+8), previews an event-boss redesign, 10 Soul Tickets for 99 Robux, compensation in tickets for earlier purchasers, and up to 400 event tickets without spending. It also proposes extra rewards from reclaimed quests and a Hallow pity range of 350–400.

This post was a preview. The October 28 release above supplies the final 350-draw guarantee, prices and Inbox compensation procedure. Keep the preview’s up-to-400-ticket figure separate from the released reward rules.

Tokens from Burst finishes

Mol’s 04:07 post (UTC+8) announces 1 Token per Burst finish, up to 10 daily from bursts. The allowance resets at 00:00 UTC. Private servers and battles after 3 in an hour against the same opponent do not count.

Historical rule: this 10-Token, Burst-only allowance was replaced by the October 28 all-finish allowance. The original reset and exclusions are preserved here as the dated announcement.

R15, Ranked, Halloween and the Trait Lab

Mol published these update notes at 03:58–03:59 (UTC+8). NotTrulyEpic posted the release announcement at 04:11. These are historical developer-described changes. The October 28 update above revises clash controls, placements, Token rewards, Halloween, confirmation thresholds and controller navigation.

  • Avatars: R15 bodies with classic proportions and rebuilt launch, battle and emote animations.
  • Ranked: ELO reset; Silver 1200, Gold 1400, Platinum 1600, Diamond 1800 and Master 2000. Placement wins add at most 150 extra ELO and cannot take a player past 1400 during placements.
  • Leaderboards: top 100 entries; wins against one opponent stop counting after 3 battles in an hour, with BP and XP still awarded.
  • Halloween: the event opens with Jack-o’-Lantern, the Headless Horseman and Trick or Treat. Hallow Lantern is a Balance Bey with a custom layer, Patch disc and Pumpkin driver.
  • Soul Draw: an owned Hallow Lantern drawn again converts to 200 Soul Coins. The October 27 preview describes further planned event changes.
  • Trait Lab: a gold pad beside the park gate opens rerolls. One Token rerolls one trait slot; layers now have trait slots too. Auto Roll, roll history and on-screen odds are described.
  • Token sources: 3 starting Tokens, daily gifts on days 4 and 7, quest bonuses and Store packs. The separate Burst reward post adds its own cap and exclusions.
  • Battle and training: Perfect launches require all 4 hits on time; clash clicks are capped at 13 per second. The Training Hall is private to each player.
  • Controls and fixes: controller menu-cursor controls, clearer Workshop moves, confirmation before rolling away Legendary-or-better surnames or traits, and fixes for loading, ranked freezes and overlapping menus.

The 05:24 follow-up discusses future BP purchases for trait rerolls and ongoing balance work. It gives no BP exchange rate.
